Their days consisted of only studying and teaching the deen of Allah. Their lives moulded to only worship Allah, resisting all aspects of the material world. What a beautiful life! As it comes in an hadith<br/><b><i>The world and all its contents are cursed and devoid of Allah's mercy, except for three things:<br/>(1) the dhikr, or remembrance, of Allah (and all other worships near it),<br/>(2) the religious (and truthful) alim, and<br/>(3) the student, who is a seeker of religious knowledge.</i></b><br/><b>May Allah give us the tawfeeq to follow in their footsteps.
