The Shamail of Imam Tirmidhi  

For those who have not come across this book it is the complete description of the Holy Prophet Sallahu Alahi Wassalam.

It is a blessing from Allah allah Al ’Allamah Shaykh Muhammad al Ya’qoubi that we shall be having the company Shaykh Muhammad al Ya’qoubi in the UK,  next month, inshallah

Shaykh Muhammad has now confirmed that he will come and teach in B’ham (venue to be confirmed soon insha Allah allah Al ’Allamah Shaykh Muhammad al Ya’qoubi).

Confirmed DATES: 6th – 9th April 2007
Provisional timetable:
Fri 6th: Begin after Jum’a – 10pm
7th – 9th April: 930am – 930pm
… with breaks for prayers, meals and refreshments.People who are travelling from afar should make provisions for their own accommodation.
The teaching will be recitation of the Arabic text, followed by translation and commentary in English.
The aim is to complete the text, insha Allah allah Al ’Allamah Shaykh Muhammad al Ya’qoubi ta’aala.

Students are recommended to acquire a copy of the text, which is available in Arabic and English in Islamic bookshops.

This course will be FREE of charge. Venue: to be confirmed soon, insha Allah allah Al ’Allamah Shaykh Muhammad al Ya’qoubi

    Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaq’oubi is a scholar of hanafi fiqh, and this is the fiqh he teaches. He can also teach maliki fiqh, given that his father and further descendants were all maliki. His father was asked to take the role of a hanafi mufti in Syria, thus from then the family adopted the hanafi madhhab.
