Dave, generally speaking, when one nation dismantles the government of another, killing many people in the process and leaving it in absolute disarray, violence and chaos, you can pretty much assume that people will be fairly angry at those who caused it. Then when you compound this with the fact that there is no discernible reason for embarking on this adventure, you can pretty much guarantee that you're not going to be popular, sorry Dave, but that's the way things generally run.
