This is my second installment of ‘Carols to Nasheeds.’ We used to sing ‘they’ll know we are Christians by our Love’ unfortunately, another tune that I have failed to forget – but I have re written those lyrics too, i hope you like them.

They’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds

Allah sent The Last Prophet as a Mercy to mankind
An example of character, humility and love
And we pray that we follow him in our daily lives
And they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds, by our deeds

Yes, they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds

He showed us how to be grateful to our mothers and fathers

He taught us how to love our sons and our daughters

And we learnt how to be thankful for all that we have

And they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds, by our deeds

Yes, they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds

The message of Islam was quickly spread throughout the world

By the character of those people who received the Prophets’ word

And we pray to Allah that we can live our lives like them

And they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds, by our deeds

Yes, they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds

Our aim is the Hereafter when we’ll meet with our Lord

So we praise Him and worship Him as our Nabie taught

And in peace do we meet and in peace we depart

And they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds, by our deeds

Yes, they’ll know we are Muslims by our deeds
