Imam Tahir Anwar delivers a very thoughtful talk about the value of time. I was speaking to my friends this morning about this very issue and it made us really think about what we are doing with our lives in terms of ibadah, seeking knowledge and how to balance the other responsibilities we have in our lives with it.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad
(saw) said:
“Value five things before five, youth before old age, health before sickness, wealth before poverty, leisure before preoccupation, and life before death.” [Tirmidhi]
May Allah
(swt) give us the ability to value these five things and capitalise on it. Amin
