tom tancredo 1 Bombing Islamic holy sites, Mecca and Madina WASHINGTON: Republican presidential hopeful Tom Tancredo says the best way he can think of to deter a nuclear terrorist attack on the US is to threaten to retaliate by ”bombing Islamic holy sites.”

The Colorado congressman on Tuesday told about 30 people at a town hall meeting in the state of Iowa that he believes such a terrorist attack could be imminent and that the US needs to hurry up and think of a way to stop it. read

“If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina,” Tancredo said at the Family Table restaurant.

Tom Tancredo is not the first person to threaten to destroy the Ka’aba and the city of Madina, indeed another outrageous individual who doesn’t quite understand who he is dealing with, actually suggested to the US government that they should “blow up Mecca and Madina.” Robert Morey, a Christian preacher, told a San Diego church he had advised the State Department to blow up the Muslim holy cities of Mecca and Medina if they wanted to win the war on terror quickly.

robert morey 19 2497 283 Bombing Islamic holy sites, Mecca and Madina It’s quite amazing that someone who is actually at this very moment campaigning to become President of America and someone who speaks to and advises the US Government both wish to bomb two of the holiest places on Earth. Their sheer nerve is only equalled by their foolishness and irresponsibility.

Quite apart from anything else, any such action would lead to Armageddon and the end of the world because it would not be tolerated by the world wide Muslims. Having said that, Allah (SWT) (swt) would not allow anything to harm our blessed and noble Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) , and destroying Madina would hurt him. Subhanallah, Allah (SWT) did not even allow lava to flow through Madina when volcanoes surrounding Madina erupted sending molten lava everywhere. The miracle is that archaeologists today simply cannot explain why and how the molten lava avoided the city because ‘science’ says that it should have! Read here for more info.

So, Allah (SWT) is not gonna allow it – It will not happen – it cannot happen, but the hatred is still there, brewing away in a pit of ignorance where these two individuals wallow and gain their warped inspiration.

The attrocities committed against the muslims right aross the globe from Philipines to palestine is making people extremely angry. I do not condone attack on US or UK but I understand why they are done. So long as muslims are persecuted I don’t see how attacks on those carrying out these attrocies can be avoided. As for the attack on Mecca and Medina I can think of only one solution. A Fatwa that every muslim is bound by their religious duly to attack American interest harming its people and assets in what ever way they can. Carpet bomb using strongest nuclear devices evety major city from New York to California uninterrupted until unconditional surrender.

While I wouldn't condone such an action, the threat to destroy Mecca and Medina might be an effective threat to islamic terrorists. The rest - a vast majority - of the islamic world might very well do some much needed stringent self policing at that point. The threat would have to be creditable though.

As for it causing Armageddon, not very likely. Muslims across the world would justifiably be outraged and would most likely cause some sort of violence, but the Us and it's titular allies have the necessary manpower and firepower to solve for that problem. The most it would cause is the end of Islam as a world religion and power base. Remember you're speaking of an Armageddon that would happen after the US had already committed to extreme action against Islam at that point.

As for Allah not allowing it, he most certainly will and has already told us so through his prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). "the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes" - Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Battles (Kitab Al-Malahim), Book 37, Number 4281. Yathrib is Madina and it shall be destroyed and left as ruins. Someday.

I hope it will never come to this, but it probably will at some point.

Salam, i meant that Allah would not allow it to happen now, in this time. I am aware of the hadith you quote and i am also aware that it refers to a certain time far from now, I was referring to an attack now. Jazakamullah for the comment! :)
