kaaba or not!! for  this is still a place we have to respect being christians, jews or muslims...for this is a place or temple/mosque/church (if u wud say)...built for the creator so tht man could worship/praise and thank the almighty...so people who wanna disrespect...think again please...as a christian i would say that this was built for the Lord by abraham so tht animal sacrifices could be made inorder for human sins to be forgiven...PEOPLE ALWAYS REMEMBER, 1 GOD AND THAT ALL HUMANS LOOK THE SAME..SO STOP THE DISCRIMINATION!!!

    Hehe,

Some non muslims doesnt really understand Kaabah.
    Kaabah is not muslim's God.
    Allah is!

The main purpose of the built of Kaaba is to be the central direction of pray for muslims long before Muhammad SAW even born ; not to be an idol like Hindus.

Yes, there's been a period where idolatory took place in Jahiliyah period in Arab particularly in Makkah.

Makkah had been the central place of idolatories across Arab peninsula before Islam which came from Muhammad SAW( by the way Islam doesn't come in first step by Muhammad SAW, it came since Adam and even Jesus is in the line!)

Despite of such situation during Jahiliyah, Kaabah remains to be a symbol of one God, and the family of Muhammad was one of the ancient monoteisme followers even before Muhammad proclaim that there is no God but Allah.

Its where Abraham actually intend to sacrifice Ishamel
(although Torah denied it by saying the sacrifice took place in Palestine and the one who should be sacrificed is Isaac, not Ishmael)

    the kaba looks cool
but y do u worship it?
  • Quran
It is part of the Idol worship of the Quresh tribe and their black stone. The saudis even today want us to bow to it.

The original was removed many times as there were Hindu like inscriptions on them.

Dotn take my word for it - just do some research.

    Dear All hi!

I am a Greek Orthodox Christian, but I have great veneration for the Muslim religion.

Christian and Muslim coincide in the acceptance of some holy figures of both religions, some prophets and saints, I guess.

My view is that religions are just labels for the same and only one God revered and worshiped in a different fashion by different religion followers, so I believe people should be allowed to visit the holy sites of other countries.

I find it unbelievable for a Muslim to be prohibited to enter a Greek Orthodox church. I mean no one checks whether the people entering a church are Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu or whatever.

I think there should be a universal religion on Earth one day. God is only one no matter what names we insist on attributing.

Cheers to all with my best wishes for happiness, well being and freedom for all the people on the Earth.

    Hugs.

We can only say thank you to our brother who managed to get this photo and published it on the web. at least it comforts we muslims that the holy house is for sure cleaned from any idol since our dear prophet "saw"'s time.

    DEAR SISTER VARSHA
FIRST OF ALL KAABA IS NOT SECRET
IF IT IS SECRET U WILL NOT ABLE TO SEE ITS PHOTO on INERNET
ITS OUR SACRED PLACE SO ITS VERY IMPORTANT TO US
now if u ask that why non muslim are restrict to enter the kaaba than i will tell you an example
if u want to go united states of america
there is a law which usa govt passed that u are not allowed to peddle drugs. if found guilty you are sentenced death penalty, so if u want to go to US u have to obey or follow the laws of US if not u r not issued visa. similarly if u want to enter a kaaba or mecca u should follow the law ISLAM which says u should be MUSLIM .

    HOPE UR QUERY IS SOLVED
    YOUR BROTHER IMRAN
  • varsha
Why is the kaaba so secret, to a non muslim?
  • Rosli Bakar
Salam, I can assure you that this photo is true photo.
I've never been into kaabah BUT I've been near to the kaabah when the door is open during my visit to MEKAH this year 1429 Zulhijjah (after Hajj season). From my angle, I can only see the pillar with gold band in the middle & the golden goblet.
I wish I could be nearer to the door BUT 3 layers of soldiers all around kaabah does not allow that (without them, I believe it will be chaos).
From the picture, we can see the pillar & goblet. So, for me it is true photo.

This is just a picture, just like picture of kaabah. The important is our faith to our god..the only god we have.
  • Hi this is to comment on the above picture that how is it possible that a person published a
picture of the inside of kaaba when, his highness , the king of saudi arabia ,
does not have the permission to carry a camera inside the kaaba.
So I believe and it is a truth that the abi=ove picture is a fake.
And so I would also like to request the people who are wasting their time in all this stuff,
to start believing in truth and sacrifice all the leisure and luxory of life for the
commandments of Allah the Almighty and start following the teachings of Muhammad and
live a simple and humble life. Also would like to request all the people who follow the
Qalma to invite the entire humanity to Islam also reveal the truth of One Almighty Allah to
    the entire humanity.
It is not always that we get the time to spend for ourselves.
as it is we are not here to spend the time for ourselves.
SO LETS TRY AND HELP PEOPLE GET NEAR THE ALMIGHTY ALLAH.
    Thank You,
    Wasimraja Qureshi.

Salam all, I have shown this picture to someone who has been inside the Kaaba and they confirmed that it is authentic.

The door is more than 2 metres above the ground, apprantly they wheel over a stair platform like you get when getting onto an airplane and post guards at the top so that is why you can see the police at the door.
  • Sonia Jamil
Innadina Yasrun- Only one religion. Ultimatley amazing
  • i think steps are placed up towards the door
  • henry flower
I'm not sure this really is the Kaaba. According to Wikipedia, the door to the Kaaba is set 2m above the ground. But this picture seems to show the door at ground level.
