Muhabbat ul Deen

If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever). And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him. An Nisa 93

Has the ummah of Prophet Muhammad reached the lowest possible depth of ignorance, or are there still more depths that we need to sink to? Muslims fighting Muslims to the death is possibly the most saddest and depressing situation that there could be. We apparently see and hear it all the time in Iraq that Muslims are bombing Muslims, Muslims are killing Muslims.

(I say apparently because of the reports of skulduggery by British and American soldiers and their undercover operations where they have been seen to blow up and murder civilians and blame Muslim suicide bombers to the international media - read Robert Fisk)

If reading stories of the total mess in Iraq isn’t bad enough we are now forced to stomach the reality of organised military operations led by so called ‘Muslim’ countries like the United Arab Emiratis in Afghanistan. Read more

Imagine the state of a people when a Muslim feels the need to join forces with occupying crusader armies who are waging a despicable war against fellow Muslims.

What happened to those people who reneged upon their agreement with the Muslims in Medina to defend it from attack at the time of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ? We may then understand the severity of joining with the enemies of Allah and his Rasul (saw) to attack the Muslims.

Is this where we are at in 2008? The military of Muslim nations arming themselves to fight the Mujahadin in Afghanistan? Our beloved Prophet Muhammad said:

The People will soon summon one another to attack you as people would when eating and would invite others to share their food.” Someone asked, “Will that be because of our small numbers at that time?”

Prophet Muhammad replied, “No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be like the froth and scum that is carried down by a torrent (of water)

Allah will take the fear of you from the breasts (hearts) of your enemy and cast al-wahn into your hearts.”

Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah , what is al-wahn?” He replied, “Love of the world and dislike of death.”

So, these nations that our beloved Prophet Muhammad spoke of and so beautifully prophesised, have now invited other Muslims to join them in their devouring of the remains of the Ummah.

Israel and America can devour the head (Palestine), Russia can take one leg (Chechnya), UK and USA can take the torso (Iraq), UK, USA, France, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Australia, et all can devour the other leg (Afghanistan) whilst Ethiopia and Kenya can share a Foot with America (Somalia). India can have one Arm (Kashmir) Turkey can take the other arm (Kurdistan).

All of this whist the remainder of the Muslim ummah watches and does nothing- (to continue the metaphor) because it is a dead carcass and feels nothing.

…but Prophet Muhammad has told us how we should be, He said:

“The Muslim Ummah is like one body. If the eye is in pain then the whole body is in pain and if the head is in pain then the whole body is in pain”

Alas, i feel that we have reached rock bottom, there is no feeling left. The disgraceful sight of the UAE military fighting the Muslims in Afghanistan would bring a tear to the noble eyes of our beloved Prophet Muhammad and the rest of the sahaba (ra)

What should our reaction be?
