Where in the Koran or hadith will one find:

“Women are imperfect in intellect and religion.”
“The best of women are those who are like sheep.”
“If a woman doesn’t satisfy her husband’s desires, she should choose herself a place in hell.”
“If a husband’s body is covered with pus and his wife licks it clean, she still wouldn’t have paid her dues.”
“Your prayer will be invalid if a donkey, black dog or a woman passes in front of you.”…” ??

And Western women have rights and free will, and are usually well compensated for their services to advertising and porn industry - that you decry with moral superiority? Women in country after country went through suffrage, the vote granted almost a century ago, once secularism overcame the oppression of the various religious-zealot sects. The underground sex slave industry in Islamic Malaysia, Africa and the former Soviet bloc (UK incidents also) the other side of the coin where mostly male miscreants traffic in women and children - appalling, indictable when discovered, incredibly sad for the victims and their families.

So, I have you addressing the status of women in Islam, albeit by redirection - a Bush style ploy that does not really hold water here? Tell me Islam does not sanction female mutilation? Tell me women are equal in your own Mosque/society? Stop side stepping, stand up and be counted! Why on earth did you think we went after the Muslim community with such ferocity in Ontario? It was about human rights, not religion! I don’t redirect and I don’t ‘go away’ when confronting physical & mental abuse (coercion) of women & children!

Abu Haraira (May Allah be please with him) is a giant of Islam, a giant of humanity, a mountain of knowledge and insight, intellect and piety. All of these accusations against this man are wrong, false, lies, slander and are only created to discredit Islam.

Non Muslims have been trying to discredit Islam since day one and it will never change. They have tried so many different things and this is actually not knew. However, it is really annoying.

Let me explain their thought pattern in a conversation they may ,have with themselves and other like minded people:

Q. Who narrated the most hadith
A. Abu Haraira
Q. So if we discredit him then could that wipe out 1000’s and 1000’s of narrations?
A. Yes it could
Q. So shall we begin?
A. Let’s
Q. Shall we make up hadith and attribute it to Abu Haraira?
A. Good thinking, I’m on it
Q. Shall we make out that Prophet Muhammad chastised him for making up hadith
A. Yes, yes, that’ll really get them going
Q. Shall we make up ahadith that portrays their Prophet in a bad light
A. Perfect

do not believe the lies.

One more thing. You have the nerve to say that Islam degrades women? The truth is that Islam honours women.

Let us look at how the West treat their women

they strip them naked and put them on bill boards
they strip them naked and put them in papers
they strip them naked and put them in magazines
they strip them naked to promote products
they strip them naked for the porn industry
they strip them naked for the music industry
they strip them naked for the motor industry
they never received rights until 1950’s
they never inherited until the mid 1900’s
They don’t get equal pay, even now

it is a complete myth that in the west they are free. They are not they are subjugated to the whims and desires of men. period.

Islam honours our women - some men don’t, but Islam does.

Irving speaks of the false hadiths attributable to Abu Huraya and his chastisement by the Prophet? (True or false?) Search for “truth” requires that devout Muslims distance themselves from the misogyny of Abu Huraya? The Prophet described as ‘kind, generous, loving toward all women’, while unspecific on Moslem women’s rights is certainly not seen as advocating the blatant degradation/misogyny ‘listed’ in the article? Or is the status quo preferable where Islam simply seen by the West as the religion that degrades its women by hadith decree?
