Obama Speech at AIPAC

Priority number 1 for the American government: To return the 3 captured Jewish soldiers from Hizbullah.
Why isn’t the return of thousands of Palestinians that have been illegally captured and tortured- including many government ministers on the agenda for Mr Obama?
In this speech to AIPAC, Mr. Obama makes his position very clear, he tells the Zionists sat in the audience that he is on the side of Israel in every way. So, despite their terror, their torture, their illegal settlements, their apartheid and ethnic cleansing, their behaviour and attitude towards UN resolutions in their policies – Israel still has his total support.
As the Americans say – “Wake up and smell the coffee?”
Mr Obama is a disaster for the Muslims especially knowing that there are so many Muslims who support him. The Muslim support of Obama is very strange, it is rather like smoking, you like how it makes you feel and how it tastes – it’s even cool to like smoking when your young, but eventually – it will destroy you.
Well, we know that the religion of Allah
will never be destroyed, however, the Muslims can be killed damaged and hurt (Spain, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq etc etc) . So, we should be treating Mr. Obama like cigarettes…stay away, it just isn’t worth it.
Another quote: “The creation of the State of Israel was just..”
Muslims, remind me again why you like this guy?

This is taken from the new blog by Imam Anwar Al Awlaki. After i subscribed to the blog I received this email and thought, subhanallah! Inshallah, after reading this you may be encouraged to subscribe also.
Assalamu alaykum all,
In this set of short blogs I will review the books that I had a chance to read while I was in jail. Here is the first:
This was during my first two months in the Political Security Jail. This was a time when I was allowed no visitors, no contact with family, and no contact with other prisoners. In fact I wasn’t even allowed to speak to the prison guards except in whispers and only for urgent needs. This was a time of complete isolation from the outside world.
I was in an underground solitary cell made up of four concrete walls with an iron gate on one side and on the opposite side a small window -rather a hole- covered with iron mesh to allow for some fresh air to come in. I couldn’t see much from it because it was about four meters high. Then there was the roof with a bulb hanging from it which was on continuously day and night. Then the floor with a mattress 2-3 inches thick, a blanket, a worn off pillow, a plastic plate, a bottle for water, and an empty bottle “just in case”.
And then there was a Quran…
In this environment there is nothing to do and nothing to read but the Quran, and that is when the Quran reveals it secrets. When the hearts are clean; when there is nothing clouding the spirit, the Quran literally overwhelms the heart.
I have never in my life felt the Quran so strongly. Thoughts, insights and feelings that I would fail to describe would come with every new verse that I would recite. Reading Quran then was not something I would force upon myself but I would recite it with eagerness for hours at end and never lose my concentration. The chapters of the Quran would carry me outside of this world and I would completely forget about my situation until a warden would slam the door open for restroom time or to take me for interrogation. Then I would wake up again to the depressing reality of this world.
So does the Quran speak to us differently in jail?
We approach Quran with a more receptive heart when we are being tested. We also come to understand Quran better when we are separated from the distractions of this world. Both these two elements exist in prison. One thing I came to realize is that the Quran does not open up its secrets to you unless you open up your heart to it. Quran does not spill its pearls to the undeserving.
Ibn Taymiyyah wrote while he was in jail that he had been reciting Quran and reflecting on its meanings and that Allah
has opened up the meanings of Quran for him. He said he learned new meanings that scholars would wish to learn. He had learned from it meanings he had never thought of before and he went further to state that he regretted the time he spent in the past learning other aspects of knowledge and not focusing on the Book of Allah
. Within a short period he said that he had read the Quran, from cover to cover, eighty times. This was due to the blessings of him being imprisoned. Allah
says: “You might dislike a thing and in it Allah
puts a lot of good”
During that blessed period of over two months when I was free of any distractions except for the interrogation worries, that is when I came to understand the statement of Uthman (r) when he said: “If the hearts are pure they would never satisfy their thirst from the Book of Allah
”
Those moments are so strange to me now, and so different that they do not seem to be a reality, or even a far away memory, but rather seem to be a dream.
We ask you O Allah
to make us of those who love your words and contemplate them.
“Indeed in that (i.e. Quran) is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present (in mind)” Sura Qaaf 37.

Obligation to Love RasulAllah (saw)

‘If you want izzah and nasr you have to support Rasulallah sallahu alaihi wasallam. Supporting our beloved Prophet Muhammad
is the key to our success as an ummah because he is the cause of the deen. There is every reason for us to love rasulallah salallahu alaihi wasallam, just see the favours he extends to us and all of humanity. If you don’t see these reasons, then love him because Allah
loves him.
Prophet Muhammad
says in one hadith on the authority of Anas ibn malik ‘Love Allah
for what He provides you of His Bounties and love me because Allah
loves me.’ If you don’t see any virtue in RasulAllah, you don’t read his seerah, you don’t read his life, you don’t know his character, you don’t know his miracles, his knowledge, his beauty, you don’t see the bounty that Allah
has extended to you because of him, even if you don’t know anything else, love him because Allah
loves him.
You have to submit to rasulallah salallahu alaihi wasallams sunnah, you have to submit to his commands, total submission to rasulallah salallahu alaihi wasallam.
A sahaba asked our beloved Prophet Muhammad
‘By my father and my mother, can I write everything you say, even when you’re angry?’ our beloved Prophet Muhammad
replied, ‘By Allah
, write everything. Write everything I utter, by Allah
nothing comes from this tongue but the truth’. This is why he is perfect and we have to love him. He is the tissue of our life, he is our intercessor on the Day of Judgement, he is the door through which we access al Jannah.
Loving our beloved Prophet Muhammad
knows no limits.
Thabit al bunani, a student of Anas ibn malik, he accompanied Anas for over 30 years. He said to Anas ‘I want to kiss your eyes, because with those eyes you saw Rasulallah salallahu alaihi wasallam
Why is Honey Sweet?

Not sure of the authenticity of this story but its great!
One day, our beloved Prophet Muhammad
was on his way to jihad with his Companions and after choosing a spot, he said to them “Eat whatever you want to eat here”.
As they were about to commence eating, one of the Companions (ra) said: “Ya RasullAllah (saw)! There is nothing else to eat with bread”. Then the Companion saw a honey bee zapping noisily nearby and asked the Prophet Muhammad
“Why is this honey bee making such a noise? Our beloved Prophet Muhammad
replied “This bee is saying that all its fellow bees are uneasy because the Companions haven’t got anything to eat with bread. Even though the bees have a honey comb nearby in the cave but cannot bring it to the Companions”
Prophet Muhammad
then stated “My beloved Ali (ra) Follow this bee and bring the honey” Hence, Ali (ra) followed and returned with a bowl of honey which the Companions ate. As soon as they finished eating the bee returned again zapping about noisily.
One of the Companions (ra) enquired “Ya RasulAllah (saw)! Why is the bee making noises again?” The Prophet (saw )replied “I have asked this bee a question and it is merely answering it. I asked the honey bee about what its food is and its answer is that its food is the flowers in the hills and the forests”. Prophet Muhammad
continued “I then asked the bee that flowers are also sour, bitter and unpleasant in taste. Then how come in your mouth (the bees mouth) they transform into a crystal clean and impeccably sweet honey?”
The bee then replied “Ya RasulAllah (saw)! Amongst our species, there lives a rich Queen. When we suck the juices of the flowers then our Queen sends her salah and darood sharif (blessings, salutations, honours and graces) to YOU (the Prophet )! And then all the other bees join in sending our darood to you hence all the sourness, bitterness and unpleasantness from the juices of flowers changes into a most sweet syrup and its because of the rewards from Allah
of sending darood to you that this syrup transforms into the perfect honey (which besides death can cure any disease as Allah
says in the Quran!)”
If by reciting darood all the bitterness from the juices of flowers can change into a beautifully sweet syrup of honey, then by reciting darood our sins can also be transformed into hasanah (good deeds). Ameen.
