Proper referencing missing. I believe this is a myth and probably would have been created by illiterate people by the name of religion. Thus, bears against his strong personality and moral teaching. No evidence suggest Muhammad said something riddiculous. There are millions of vague stories like this and are absolute falacy bear no religious significance.

Assalam o Alaikum

I never heard of this riwayat anywhere nor any scholar mentioning it. Can you provide the source of it. Because this is one of the most evil things to ascribe to Nabi (??? ???? ???? ????) anything to which he didn't say. Therefore, we should be extremely watchful on this matter.

Does anyone know of the narrators (isnad or sanad) of this riwayat? Is this available in any of the “Saha Sittah”? Why the 'rawee' is totally missing?

I myself searched the web. In some of the web sites at the bottom of the riwayat its reference was given 'Maqasid Al-Salkain'. Only, a few web sites were found containing the name of this book!

I myself did'nt find any 'positive' answers of any of the above questions yet.

Friend, I do not mean to be critical but it is of the utmost importance to verify authenticity of something that appears to be Hadees before relaying it.

There are lots of web sites which are not authentic and loaded with fictitious material. May Allah protect us, ameen.

Just open the Quran and read the 56th Ayat of Surah Al-Ahzaab. Could there any other thing be more motivating than Allah's following saying for us to recite the darood on our beloved Nabi (??? ???? ???? ????)!:

http://www.englishtafsir.com/Quran/33/index_htm...
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Adil Mughal
