Scene from The Message of the Battle of Badr

The 17th of Ramadhan (in two days time) is a very important date in the Islamic calendar. It is a date that that signifies the strength of Islam and the sacrifice of the Muslims. It the anniversary of the most spectacular and monumental battle in the history of mankind.  The Battle of Badr.

Why is it the most spectacular and monumental battle in the history of mankind? Well, it was the and original battle between good and evil, between truth and falsehood and between the best of Mankind and the best of Angels against the worst of mankind and the worst of the shayateen. Battle of Badr Remembered

It was the first “battle of the worlds;” soldiers from the unseen worlds were riding on horse back with swords and battling along side the best of all creation, our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and his companions, who were the best of men.

No Hollywood, Bollywood or Lollywood film has yet to create such a scene!

The Angel Jibreel (as), wearing a yellow turban, was leading and commanding the army of angels in the unseen world and the battle raged. Just imagine!

What a moment, what a battle, what a day!  These are the stories and events our children should be told about, these were truly great events in the history of mankind and they should be remembered, taught and celebrated.

A brothers was telling me this morning that the names of the Shuhada of Badr were all memorised in the past by the Muslims, after the names of Allah (SWT) and His Rasul were memorised.  Inshallah, I will list the names on the 17th Ramadhan.

  • The Battle of Badr is one of the few battles explicitly discussed in the Qur'an. It is mentioned by name in Sura 3:123, and shows Allah did indeed send down Angels to assist the Muslims

"Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear Allah; thus May ye show your gratitude. Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down? "Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught. Qur'an: Sura 3:123-125

Jibreel (as) asked the Prophet Muhammad about those that attended the victory of Badr, "What is the position of those who attended Badr amongst you?" Oir beloved Prophet Muhammad said, "They are our best of us." Then Jibraeel said, "Likewise, the Angels that attended Badr are the best amongst the angels."

Some rubbish you writing here. In the battle of Badr & Uhud - Allah swt did promise Rasulullah saw the army but was never sent. This is the fact in Al-Quran. I just read this a few days ago myself, can remember the surah now. Allah later explains further in the surah that Allah promised because wanted to give confidence to the muslims. Also Allah did help in another manner that by making muslims in a minor state of drowziness which gave them state of calm and stike fear in the hearts and minds of the kafirs. That is the only help from Allah came in the battle of Uhud and Badr. Check these facts with Quran hafiz maulanas with knowledge known to you!!!

Those idiots have written that hazrat Jubrail a.s. along with angels came for the battle are morons and simply creating stories. I am quotings facts from Al-Quran!!

There was help of unseen army (not mentioned angles, so it could be any other creature now know to humans) was sent by Allah during the battle of Khandak or Al-Ahzab which the scenario is spelled clearly in Surah Al-Ahzab. When Allah says an unseen army aling with heavy winds, then pls dont act smart and insult Islam or Allah's words by guessing these to be for sure angles. It could be angles or any other creature which human eye can not see.
