Dont quite like the idea. Too much western influence..

what’s next.. escalator between safa & marwa?? rotating platform around kaaba to help those pilgrimage performing tawaf?? or maybe.. the hajj trip will only offered to the wealthy group..?

Masjidil haram suppose to be a place to worship the Almighty.. and beautiful as it was..

there is five of us in the house, and we really find the plans scary, i cannot imagine being able to try and get in spiritual mode and get a feel of the prophet with that intimidation looming over me. Its nice for star wars but i draw the line there. you hear about the earthquake thats gonna take place there at the time of the Dajjal in his physical form, and those that run out of Mecca or Medina will fall prey to softlad. imagine that monstrosity about to topple on you, i`m afraid its not much of a choice.

I think that it has disturbed haram’s sky zone.

i think the plan really looks ugly as the Kaba looks so small
instead of doing plan of european style we are suppose to make it more peaceful place
religion dont change so why make our sociaty change?
This is a place of worship not a tourist place and the place should not look like its for rich when actually in islam we are all equal. We should fear Allah the all Mighty.

this is the house of Allah , you don't want people to look down on it, so please don't make skyscraper. where rich are only aloud and not the poor because the prophet (p.b.u.h) said that everyone should be treated the same and also claimed the Allah (s.w.a) did not like tall buildings!!!!!!! so please think about the deen!!!!

Expanding the Haram in the above said model would break the sense & the serene spiritual thought that one has while performing Hajj. Already we lack the spiritual serenity that our elderly generation enjoyed during their Hajj & 'Umrah. The truthful thing is that the KSA government would experience more & more Haajees in the forth-coming years, insha Allah and the best they can look is for some other viable alternative that helps not destroying the spiritual serenity when one visits the Haram, rather going for a westernized City of Makkah, built with muslim money, benefited by the evil-mongers awaiting to thrash Islam.

idont thinks so.by my idea .if itcome to reality.if we look closer to the higth building surrounding the Haram it will not look like a mosque but rather as roman Empire structure.

i really don’t like this…i feel like a bit scared seeing the structure of great Masjidul Haram like this…it shouldn’t be like this at all..it seems good to see all the buildings towards Ka’aba but those r skyscrapers & i realy dont like it surrounding the Ka’bah..Allah don’t like tall immensely tall buildings & He has also mentioned that increase in development of tall buildings r sign of nearing end of the world..y call the end by ourselves..??No..this plan cannot come into existence..no true Muslims would want this to happen..the place looks like a dry hybrid city that lacks oxygen..

the Masjid that exists now is so very beautiful…let it expand not to the heights but to more area with same,matching structure of the existing one…

The expansion of Kaba will accommodate more pilgrims and the paucity of space will be overcome to an extent. the given model shows best possible design that can be made in the available land. the need is to expedite the civil work and complete the same with  the stipulated time.

To be honest this all looks quite Dajjaalic to me. The Kabaa is the focus and we are supposed to be following in the footsteps of the Prophets/Messengers and all those Learned people before us who never had the luxuries that we see around the Kabaa these days. The Towering Materialist and Money driven hotels are the exact reason why we shun all material goods and values and go on pilgrimage to Makaa. We are supposed to leave all this behind and stand as equals. Mankind on one plain as one. So when the place we go to to do this is revelling in materialism and trying to make as much money as possible then how are we to complete our Hajj/Umrah withot its inflence upon us.

WE MUST HELP CREATE A CHANGE SO THAT WE DO NOT GO DOWN THIS ROAD. KEEP ISLAM THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. AMEEN.
