Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, reported that the Prophet Muhammad said:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The people asked: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah ?” He replied: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah , except for the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause - and returned with nothing.” (Bukhari).

“There is no deed more precious in the sight of Allah , nor greater in reward, than a good deed done during the ten days of Sacrifice.” He was asked, “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah ?” He replied: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah , except for the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause - and returned with nothing.” (Ad-Darimi).
These texts and others indicate that these ten days are better than all the other days of the year, without exception, not even the last ten days of Ramadhan. But the last ten nights of Ramadan are better than the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah, because they include Laylatul-Qadr (”the Night of Power”), which is better than a thousand months. Thus the various reports may be reconciled. (Tafsir Ibn Katheer).
May Allah give us the ability to utilise our time correctly in these ten days and perform increased acts of worship and devotion to Him. Amin
Hajj season will soon be upon us which means a time of sacrifice in remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim (as) and his family (as). This is also a time that families around the world are able to eat meat because of the kind Qurbani donations given by many people.
Each year Islamic Relief accepts Qurbani donations and distributes the meat to those families who may not have eaten meat for a whole year. There are many such families around the world and many orphans that benefit from this.
Last year Islamic Relief provided 70.000 Qurbani’s which helped over 1.5 million people in 25 different countries, subhanallah
Time goes so fast so let’s start thinking now about our Qurbani this year.
I attended the first weekend of this course over the weekend in London and it was fantastic in every way, mashallah.
Hazarat Shaykh ul Hadith Abu Yusuf Riyadh ul Haq and the Al Kawthar Academy delivered a really memorable course for the 100’s of brothers and sisters that attended. Shaykh Abu Yusuf along with other ullema put together a comprehensive course that will act as a foundation course to other courses in the future inshallah.
Shaykh taught (among many other things) that acquiring the correct etiquette before, during and after seeking divine knowledge is essential if one wishes to progress and attain Allah ’s pleasure and ultimately receive a portion of a His divine knowledge.
Subhallah, the course was beautifully run and organized and a real spiritual atmosphere was created which lent itself perfectly to our learning.
The Academy will be inshallah organizing further courses in the future around the UK and abroad. I highly recommend these courses to anyone who wishes to study underneath a traditional scholar whose knowledge of all Islamic sciences is breathtaking and whose teaching style is unique and inspiring.

The following story is about a brother from Guyana who became a Muslim from being a Hindu and Christian Priest for 10 years. A brother sent this to me in an email and I thought it would be good if I shared it with you.
His current name is Ahmed Tabarani. He was born in a poor Hindu family in Guyana. However, he used to dislike worshipping statues since his childhood. As he grew up, he became connected with the local Church because they worshipped three divine beings (God, Jesus and Holy Spirit) rather than worshipping hundreds of idols. Eventually, he became a Christian and studied for many years to become a Christian priest. The Church hired him and paid for all his travelling and living expenses. His family became very pleased to see that because he became a Christian, their poverty was removed. As a result, the whole family became Christians. During the 10 years of serving as a Priest, he always used to wake up at night and meditate. He used to ask God to show him whether he was following the truth. In one such nights, he had a vision. He saw that three people dressed in white long throbes, wearing turban and beard are walking towards him and these people are to show him the true religion. After seeing this vision, many years passed by but he didn’t see such a thing happening. But one day, a group of Muslims (part of Tabligh Jamah) visited a Masjid near his place to call people towards Allah . That afternoon, as he was going to the Church, he saw three of these Muslims are coming towards him. Immediately, he remembered his vision. These three Muslims resembled exactly what he saw in the vision. Then he approached them and asked what religion they follow. The Muslims told him about Islam and he became a Muslim on the spot and quit being a priest. Poverty again took over his family as he quit his job. All his family members, especially his mother, became angry at him for becoming a Muslim. But he said the following words to his mother,
“Dear mother, I could give you a new pair of shoes, but they will become worn out. I could give you a new dress, but that too will become old and ripped. But I can give you something that will never finish. My mother, say ‘There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger.’”
The mother was really touched by this statement and became a Muslim. Following her, everyone else in the family also became Muslims. For 15 years, Ahmed Tabarani is a practising Muslim serving Islam with his total energy. He is currently living in Canada.
It has started. Interpal are on the brink of closure because Lloyds TSB, or rather the State of Israel, want them closed, it is as simple as that. Who is next on Israel’s hit list i wonder?
This just proves that nobody is safe.

Dear Friends,
Assalamu Alaikum - Peace be upon you.
I am writing to you because we are faced by a totally unexpected crisis which has the potential to force us to cease operations early next month.
We received notification the day before yesterday from our bank, the Islamic Bank of Britain (IBB), that Lloyds TSB (their clearing bank) have served notice on IBB to cease all dealings with Interpal. The notice comes into effect on 8 December 2008 (a nice Eid prsent!). After this time “all transactions into or out of Interpal accounts will be blocked and IBB will be at further risk of all its customer payments being suspended.” IBB has offered us its total support but is apparently powerless in this situation, throwing into question the autonomy of Britain’s burgeoning Islamic finance sector.
As you can imagine, this has the potential not only to damage Interpal but also to affect community relations (and cohesion) in Britain. The bank hasn’t even waited for the Charity Commission to publish its latest report on Interpal.
No reason at all is given for this draconian and punitive measure, taken without any consideration for the thousands of contributors who have placed their faith in us to assist the needy of Palestine – and who want to continue to do so. Needless to say, it will be an administrative nightmare to transfer the thousands of standing orders that we have, etc.
By acting in this way, Lloyds TSB has treated IBB with contempt. Their action sends a signal to other Muslim charities – as well as the bank’s 50,000 Muslim account holders – that their accounts can be closed down without warning or explanation at any time.
It is, at the very least, an example of the utter lack of respect faced by the Muslim community from some hostile quarters in this country.
Perhaps it should be pointed out to Lloyds TSB that Muslims are among the British taxpayers who have bailed out the bank after years of wasteful mismanagement!
Be that as it may – we are less than a month away from a potentially very difficult and testing situation. We are currently mobilising all the support we can to try to persuade the banks to rescind this decision – and hope and pray that we can look to you for guidance, advice and practical support at this critical time.
We are calling upon our friends and supporters, and all who stand for justice in the face of oppression to contact Lloyds-TSB and the Islamic Bank of Britain to ask them to rescind this outrageous, unfair and arbitrary decision.

The financial/monetary summit which is now being arranged is certainly linked to Dajjal’s phase three.
It is through a study of events which led to the passage from Dajjal’s phase one to phase two that we can anticipate and recognize events now unfolding, and soon to unfold in the historical process, which would indicate the passage to phase three.
We have long anticipated that the creation of a new international monetary system to replace the tottering Bretton Woods Accord would be precisely such a sign.
We must now look carefully to seek to recognize what is still carefully concealed evidence that would confirm the transfer of the world’s financial capital from Washington to Jerusalem.
We must also anticipate that great wars would also erupt in which Israel would display its military superiority over the rest of the world - including UK and USA.
Not only does Obama’s election as US President now ‘whitewash’ a terribly-soiled US image in the world, but it also allows the cabal to exploit his commitment to widen the war in Afghanistan to their advantage. It is therefore a black Obama administration that would be led by the nose to attack Pakistan’s nuclear facilities (perhaps in concert with an Indian attack on Pakistan) while Israel exploits the opportunity to simultaneously attack Iran’s nuclear plants. The immediate result of such a war would be the astronomical rise in the price of both oil and gold and the consequent total collapse of the US dollar and the US economy in such wise as would cripple the Democratic Party for decades to come.
John McCain’s concession speech indicates that he (as well as the leadership of the Republican Party) are well aware that they have led Obama/Afro-America/the Democratic Party down a path to be sacrificed and slaughtered as a cow. Obama and the Afro-Americans have displayed complete innocence of the fact that they could never have succeeded unless the white cabal had made the choice to have a black man elected as President.
It was not by accident that the present phase of the financial meltdown commenced in early September and immediately impacted on the contest for the White House in a manner that eventually assured victory for Obama.

Every Muslims favourite person, Barak Obama, nominated Joe Biden as his running mate during the Presidential campaign and because of Obama’s win, he will now become Vice President of the United States of America in January 2009.
This is what Vice President Joe Biden said about the internation crisis that will happen in January 2009.

Extraordinary isn’t it? What the hec is going to happen in January and how the hec does he know? If he does know why isn’t he stopping it and why aren’t people screaming at him and Powell to tell us what is going to happen?
This is like something out of the twilight zone - this is really surreal! Why aren’t the networks picking up on this story?

Do you still think it was a good idea to vote him in? Subhanallah, the very first thing Obama did, as President elect, is to recruit a man like this to take one of the most important and influential jobs in American government. Amazing.
Congratulations to Barack Obama on his historic victory in the American presidential elections. It was a big day, no doubt, for African Americans and other minority communities living in America as only 40 or so short years ago they had no right to vote and couldn’t even sit on certain seats on buses because of the colour their skin. There can be no question, therefore, that this election is certainly a defining moment in American political and social history.
What i do not understand is the outpouring of love from the Muslims in America and all around the world towards him -as if he is the second coming of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) or something similar. It really has reached those limits.
We have Muslims falling over themselves to praise him and to enter the democratic process and vote for him knowing full well about his foreign policy towards the Muslims.
Are these “Obama loving Muslims” blind to these facts, are they burying their head in the sand or are they just hoping that he will not go through with the things he said about our Ummah? I wonder. The propaganda campaign has surely worked though hasn’t it - in a big way?
I have never seen so many Muslims be so affected by one non Muslim person ever…quite extraordinary!
If I can just compare, for one moment, for the sake of argument, Obama to the Da’jaal. When the Da’jaal appears he will have more charisma, more charm, more oratory skills and more influence; just imagine how many Muslims will fall for him? It is not that hard to imagine now is it? If it is that easy to gain the trust of the Muslims, the love of the Muslims and the vote of the Muslims how easy will it be for the Da’jaal? No sweat whatsoever.
The truth is that Obama promises more bloodshed in Muslim lands and despite the Muslims falling over themselves to just grab a sight of him, he promises to place Jerusalem as the undevided capital of Israel. Whilst Muslims are building websites to show their devotion to him, he promises to invade Pakistan; whilst Muslim sisters sporting star spangled banner hijabs, burning candles for fallen US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, Obama promises to increase troop numbers in Afghanistan to increase the war effort there.
These promises that Obama has made are very serious but it has obviously escaped the attention of the Obama loving Muslim in America and elsewhere. If it hasn’t escaped their attention and they know about these plans and they still voted him in, could they be complicit once these event take shape? One could argue that these events may occur anyway, but do you really want answer to Allah if He (aza wa jal) asks you about supporting this man or any President with his agenda and voting him in?
There was once a time in the Ummah that people would do anything for Masjid Al-Aqsa, for the Muslims in Palestine, indeed for the Muslims anywhere. If it was heard that a sister had been violated a whole army would be sent to honour her and take revenge. Today our sisters are being violated everyday in the horrible, disgusting dungeons they have been placed in up and down Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan but yet there are some Muslims who wish to support a person and the system that has made this happen. How far have we fallen?
Whist Shaytaan is stablishing his HQ in Israel and American forces create fort like bases around the Middle East in its support, should we not be concentrating on the Ummah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad , should’t that be our concern?
Those who challenge what I say, come back to me in 4 years and we will see how many Muslim deaths have occurred under the Obama administration, how many Muslim countries have been invaded, bombed and their women and children slaughtered.
I remember being exited by Blair in 1997 like everyone else in the UK. Little did we know he would end up being directly responsible for the deaths of over 1 million Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan.
As Muslims our attention should be on the welfare of the Ummah as a whole as we have been told that we are one body by Prophet Muhammad . At the moment we are all behaving like a dead corpse, unable to feel the pain elsewhere on the body, lifeless.
It is because our iman in Allah is weak and our love for Allah and His Messenger (saw) is weak that we turn towards people like Obama, a non Muslim, for change in our condition.
Know that it is Allah alone that benefits.
