tree1 The Hadith of the Gharqad Tree and the Jews

This is a picture of the famous Gharqad tree (or Boxthorn tree in English) that will not speak out to the Muslim in the battles towards the end of time with the Jews.

Our Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said in a famous hadith:

“Judgment Day will come only when the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, until the Jew hides behind the tree and the stone, and the tree and the stone say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah (SWT), there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him’ – except for the Gharqad tree.”

I found an interesting transcription of a conversation about this hadith that I thought I would share with you:

Khaled Al-Qudha: The decisive battle between the Jews and us will take place on the Jordan River, Allah (SWT) willing. This is inevitable. This is a hadith of the Prophet, who does not talk idly.

Host: Did the hadith relate to the battle’s outcome as well?

Khaled Al-Qudha: Of course. “Until the Jew hides…” – because, as is well known, the Jews only fight from behind walls, when they are hiding. They don’t fight face to face. That’s why the tree and the stone will talk and say things.

Host: The hadith says: “The Muslims will kill them…” So this will be a victory of the Muslims.

Khaled Al-Qudha: Yes, and an overwhelming defeat for all the Jews, Allah (SWT) willing. And this is not at all difficult for Allah (SWT).

This battle will take place. It is inevitable. Even if we go to Oslo, and so on, the battle must take place. The Jews know this, and that’s why they plant a lot of Gharqad trees. They know the hadith.

‘Ali Al-Faqir: They surround their settlements with Gharqad trees.

That explains all those Gharqad trees, but what of the stones and trees talking? Is this to be interpreted literally?

‘Ali Al-Faqir: One may ask: “How can a tree possibly talk? The hadith means that we should fight them with sticks and stones.” This is not true. We either accept these things as fact or as a metaphor. If you cannot accept it as a fact then it’s a metaphor. As long as it is impossible to accept the facts…

But brothers, the Prophet has told us that the time will come when man will talk without using his voice – the cell-phone, the cordless phone. This cordless phone – where did it come from? From the earth. Plastic comes from petroleum. The wires, the iron, and the copper – where do they come from? From the earth. Furthermore, some communication devices are now made of wood. It is not impossible that “the tree and the stone will speak” refers to the advanced scientific instruments that warn you about people. Today you have, for example, early warning stations in Sinai. Early warning stations exist in the Golan. They give the Israelites information about the other side’s movements.

Host: Sir, this is if we interpret (the hadith) metaphorically. But isn’t it possible that the tree and stone will actually talk? That the tree itself will talk, and the stone itself will talk?

‘Ali Al-Faqir: Sir, it has been proven scientifically that the trees and the stones have languages of their own. But we don’t have the ability to invent the instruments that will convey the tree’s voice and the stone’s voice to us.

Science has progressed so much that there are instruments that are placed in gardens. The plant produces certain waves, which are received by the instrument, and the plant says: “I am thirsty, water me, I am sick, heal me.”

……

It would be a very interesting study to see how many of these trees have been planted in Occupied Palestine by the Yahood.

Wasalaam

According to the Quran, Sura 17:101 to 17:104, the land you call "occupied Palestine" was the land Allah gave to the Jews.

It was the pagan Romans and later the British who called it "Palestine", Hebrew for "land of invaders" after the Philistines, ancient pagan enemies of the Jews. That's one thing.

Jews do believe in a judgement day. Muhammed's belief in such came from Judaism, just like Christianity's belief in a judgement day came from Judaism.

Jews believe (and have believed for thousands of years) that one day a descendant of King David will become King of Israel, return all Jews to the Land of Israel, and bring world peace. Jews refer to that new king as the "Messiah", the annointed one.

The Messiah is not the last or only messiah. The Tanakh (Jewish Bible) tells of King Cyrus, the King of Persia, who was also a messiah (but not _the_ Messiah) because he also ruled Israel, returned the Jews home, and brought world peace (within the Persian Empire, which was huge). King Cyrus was a Zoroastrian, a monotheist who believed in the same god as the Jews did. That's another thing.

Muslims and Christians believe that Jesus of Nazareth was that descendant of King David. Jews don't believe that. Many Christians and all Muslims believe that Jesus will one day return for Judgement Day. Jews believe that the real Messiah (i.e. not Jesus) will come that day.

Muhammed got his theology from Judaism and some Christianity. Allah is the G-d of Israel and the Quran tells many of the stories of Allah's interactions with the People of Israel. Whenever the People of Israel lost faith, Allah allowed the pagans to invade the Land of Israel and disperse the People. Whenever the People of Israel stuck to their faith, G-d defended them even against the largest Empires. It is ONLY thanks to Allah that the Jews have survived for so long despite the large number of powerful enemies. That's a third thing.

    And now for the Hadith:

"Judgment Day will come only when the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, until the Jew hides behind the tree and the stone, and the tree and the stone say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah (SWT), there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him’ – except for the Gharqad tree."

I believe it's true. I don't believe that Muhammed was a prophet, because according to Jewish tradition a prophet is someone who heard G-d's voice whereas Muhammed only claimed contact with an angel (like Daniel, who is also not a prophet in Judaism).

But Muhammed also tought that superstition is wrong. REAL Muslims (and Jews and Christians) do not listen to trees or stones. Listening to trees and stones is like astrology a pagan rite forbidden to followers of Allah.

I believe the time has started where Muslims abandon Allah and follow pagan rituals again, where they listen to trees and stones, just like Muhammed had warned.

Muhammed's reference to the Gharqad tree also makes sense to me. In the Jewish Bible the Gharqad tree is named as one tree which stands in the path of the wicked. It makes sense that Muhammed, a prophet, according to some, of the same G-d would see the tree in the same way. So, yes, the Gharqad tree will be in the Muslims' way.

But Allah has never allowed Israel's enemies to prevail and He won't now either.

The Arab commentators are wrong. Jews do not fight from behind walls. The terrorists fire rockets from schools and residential homes, but the Israelis fight from military bases and no Arab country checks people for bombs in case a Jew tries to blow up a school.

So there is your answer. That's the reason why Jews plant Gharqad trees. The Bible says they stand in the way of evil and the Hadith say that it will stand in the way of Muslims who attack Jews because trees and stones command them to do so.

But real commands come from Allah, not from trees and stones.

listen to the hebrew recitation of song of songs 5:16....if the name of prophet Muhammad is not taken then I will be your slave...but if I speak the truth...you have no choice but to proclaim the shahadah
    "lâ ilâha illallâh, Muḥammadur rasûlullâh"

    a challenge then, what say?
  • Andrew Brehm
    And I accept your challenge.

I believe that G-d is the only god. But the fact that Muhammad's name is derives from a root that also appears in other words is not proof of anything for me. And I don't really care if Muhammad is a messenger of G-d because his own words make it clear to me that he was not a prophet by Jewish law and the Quran, written in Arabic and described by itself as being in Arabic so that people can understand it, is very obviously not directed at me.

If G-d wants to reach us, He can use Hebrew and Aramaic, as usual. Arabic is for Arabs.
  • ezio_auditore
your words tell me one thing for sure...arrogance.

Muhammad unlike the jewish prophets was not sent to a particular race or group of people...he was sent as a mercy to the worlds that includes the jinn and humans.
Allah gave the Arabs...who used to be barbaric and ignorant something not even the most learned Rabbi's could possibly write..that too to an illiterate person.Humility not pride is what the Creator loves...i m sure u wud agree to that....even then you are too proud to accept a prophet from the Arabs ....
satan was too proud of himself...he believed himself to be superior to Adam...coz satan was created from fire..whereas Adam from clay...and remember you as a Jew are in no way superior to any human...i am pretty sure my words wont have any effect on you coz racism has been programmed into your minds...Allah gives signs to the believers...i think even if Allah tells you personally that Muhammad is his messenger...even then you will check up in your man made jewish law.
  • Andrew Brehm
I think you are confusing a word meaning "desire" with a name based on the same root ("Muhammad"). It's like saying that any and all references to an uncle refer to David because the name David derives from the same root as the Hebrew word for uncle.

According to Jewish law a prophet is someone who heard the voice of G-d. Muhammad, according to his own words, only ever communicated with angels. He is thus not a prophet in the Jewish sense. I do not deny here that everything Muhammad said is true, but that still wouldn't make him a prophet according to Jewish law.

Muhammad was a descendant of Ismail and as such and as a trader with Syria probably spoke Aramaic (like many people would have in cities at the time). Since the Quran specifically states that the message is in Arabic so that people could understand it it's likely that Muhammad himself expected an Aramaic message. Angels usually spoke Aramaic.

Either way, real commands come from Allah, not from trees and stones. And any Muslim who follows the commands of ghosts is not a real Muslim. If Israel should fall again, as it has twice before, it will fall before pagans. But the Quran doesn't speak of a third exile and G-d NEVER breaks His word.

This means that if Israel falls, the Quran will have been wrong. But personally, I don't believe G-d has ever abandoned His people and nor will He abandon His people now or in the future. Secular Jews put their faith in an army. Religious Jews put their faith in religion. What do religious Muslims put their faith into? Suicide bombers?

You are right to say that Mahammad there could mean it literally Mahammad and not the name of an actual person...but i only said that his name will be taken..in that sense I am right...i didnt say that it will exclusively say prophet muhammad but just his name will be taken.

However i would like to know what the Jewish law is ..its history...who wrote it... U see the islamic law called the shariah is actually based upon the Qur'an and the sunnah of the prophet. enlighten me about the books you believe in...the commandments which are definetly more than 10...and especially about the Prophecy stuff...whom do u consider a prophet?
I only seek a dialogue..if you are interested..be my guest. btw i m on skype if u r intersted in a meaningful talk

The interruption of prayer three things happen when you pass in front of the prayer, the Prophet reminded his word: "One woman, a donkey and a dog interrupts the sentence, but something like the back of a horse protect it (from interruption). "Reported by Muslim (511).
And in another transmission: "... or a black dog, "said the narrator-" The black dog is a demon. "
Question: Do cats are tahirah (pure) or naayisah (impure)?
Answer: Cats are pure on the basis that if they drink water from a container, this would not become impure,
Conclusion: Women, the donkey and the dog naayisah (impure) and if the dog is black is a demon ..

The war is soon enough, the sight will be from uv sight, thermal sight, uav robot spy sight and from the satellite. German and the US is developing this capable future infantryman. The images are shared instantly to every combatants on the field, so everyone can see what the other see.

The German Bundeswehr IDZ and US Army Land Warrior. The IDZ are now on operational in regular army of the Bundeswehr, while the US still researching.

May be the gharqad tree is the only thing that those device could not penetrate, Allah knows best of course. Looking the image of the tree, it is suitable place to hide from aerial plane and satellite sight.

The tree can also be refer to the Israeli soldier camouflage uniform, they use this type of color (gharqad tree color), a single color, the advantage of a single color is that it is more concealable when moving, the IDF doctrine of warfare is defend by offend, they adopted fast movement army. May be this hadith is telling us the description of todays Israeli army infantryman.

Yes, what his summarize is the fact and have supporting details.According to hadith sahih the war between jew and islam will come. And islam will won in that battle,Allah Willing..For defensive response the only solution for jew to protect is hiding behind ghardaq tree which is tree of jew.For those non-believer please do not interpret the hadith directlly and the meaning without specific processing.I tell you why israel(zionist)(jew army) killing muslim and destroy them.Is that because their scared muslim community especially in palestine. And also their believe in Hadith(muslim),for your information Jews is one of the nation that very fanatic with the religions. And the only religion that make a promise with Allah and also the one who break the promise.Their believe that for sure. And the prove is when their plant ghardaq trees around israel, even the President of israel encourage them to plant the trees at the house yard.If their not believe in hadith why their plant it.The christianity doesnt realize it because their know nothing..Only jew know the truth about islam.2 great religion Christian(nasara) Al-Yahud(Jew) is cursed by Allah. Why?? they are over limit and extremist nation(Al-Yahud),For Nasara(Christian) They play around the world..Changed word of god, create their own perception and imagination through bible and said "This from god" it is what means "PLAY".Al-yahud is the extremist nation in the world their kill what ever their want because their think the paradise belongs to them and their blood is holy and those who are non-jew is like animals, their can go to hell. And why jew wont listen to NATO or UN want to says..I told you who is united Nation and NATO,who is them???heyyyy who is united nation..even The jew make a promise with allah their break the promise. How can their negotiate with NATO or UN.Only Knowledgeable Jew realize about this.Modern jew can go to hell cause their know nothing.Even their realize Islam is way of light but their reject it because of lust.Their are greed,selfish..That is the true.I wont tells lies
  • Ari Greenblatt
Dear brother, Why do you hate us so much ? Why ? Many of your statements about us Jews are not correct.
  • asimo
Im not saying i hate al-yahud or nasara..I said extremist al-yahud and nasara. Please state me which statement is wrong..Jew took Uzair(ezra) as son of god according from Torah(taurat),nasara(christian) took Jesus which is son of mary(maryam) as son of god according from Bible(Injeel),none of them are GOD,but you still worship them as a GOD..why??can't you see it..they are like us..HUMAN..for me they is a great prophet.I believe them but not as a GOD.Just like other prophets came before and after them.

The G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob sees your hatred. That (evil) which you have leveled against His People will come back on you.

    anti semitic fucking bastards
  • Umayr
We are not Anti-Semitic... Like Jews arabs are also Semitic

But that cannot be without the liquidation of the state of isreal and if only The Jews would leave the people of Palestine alone and live with us in peace we will live with them in peace... and the jews have all the right to live here

But not the Freakin European Convert Jews.. The real Jews the sons of Isreal

  • Andrew Brehm
Freaking European Convert Jews are Jews just like middle-eastern Jews. It doesn't even matter as the majority of Israelis are middle-eastern Jews, mostly refugees from Iraq and other Arab-ruled countries.

There is no "people of Palestine" because there is no "Palestine". The British named the territory "Palestine" (but they also named it "Israel", the bank notes contain both names).

If you read the Quran or the Bible you will find that there is a people of Israel and a land of Israel. But there is no "land of Palestine" or "Palestinian people".
  • ezio_auditore
palestine is mentioned in the torah....check it up...palestinians are clearly mentioned in it...i have the torah and the tetaments..by God they are there...your lies wont change a thing hebrew and arabic being similar...the palestinians are clearly mentioned philastines...just the way they are called today..besides the covenant for the Land of Canaan was made to abraham and his seed...the first time this is mentioned in the torah...isaac wasnt even born...ishmael is mentioned being born and is called the son of abraham...today the arabs are the bani ismael and the jews are the bani isra'il...the present jews consist of converts and other people who do not actually belong to the descendents of prophet jacob also called prophet israel. the present israel is only a fascist nation which was formed on the land belonging to the palestinians and by God we will have it back.
I think you are a jew ... then check up your torah...I bet you have never done so..first know the facts then speak.
  • Andrew Brehm
Incidentally, not all Arabs are Bani Ismail. It is widely known that when Abraham and Ismail came to Mecca, Mecca already existed as a city, inhabited by Arabs. Those Arabs did not stop multiplying and their descendants are today's Arabs. Only one Arab tribe descends from Ismail.

It is a pity how often Muslims forget their own history. When Muhammed referred to the furthest place of worship, he was referring to the other place of worship, not the one Ismail and Abraham prayed at but the one Yitzhak and Abraham prayed at, Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the city of Yitzhak and Mecca is the city of Ismail. And one brother shall not rule over the other because before G-d they are brothers.
  • Andrew Brehm
No, "Palestine" is not mentioned in the Torah. The "Philistines" were mentioned as the enemies of G-d and King David beat them. "Palestine" was later named by the pagans after the "Philistines". And the word "Philistine" derives from the Hebrew for "invader".

According to Jewish law converts are Jews just like born Jews. There is no difference. It doesn't matter anywhere because the vast majority of Jews are not converts and the majority of Israeli Jews are not European.

And no, the land never belonged to any "Palestinians". How could it? It was given by G-d to Moses' people.
  • ezio_auditore
    enough talk heres my proof:
these verses are from the first book of torah : also called the book of genesis:

Gn 16:15 . And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.

Gn 16:16 And Abram [was] fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

Gn 17:1 . And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I [am] the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Gn 17:2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

Gn 17:3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

Gn 17:4 . As for me, behold, my covenant [is] with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

Gn 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Gn 17:6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

Gn 17:7 . And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Gn 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Gn 17:9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

Gn 17:10 This [is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

Your own book proves without a shadow of doubt that the land of Canaan is not the exclusive property of bani israel but the descendents of Abraham, so dont forget your own brothers the Arabs...you see the Jews of those times looked down upon the Arabs...look how Allah taught you people a lesson...Allah chose the last prophet from them and the book in their language...something that was looked down upon....tell me which book on the face of this earth...more eloquent more beautiful than the Qur'an...

Imagine if those who have spent so much time and so much of their wealth with the soul aim of destoying the Jews would put this same initiative into building up the Muslims instead. Imagine for one moment that they could remember that hatred is not a reasonable nor enlightened activity for a culture to pursue. Does a farmer not plant his best seeds every year? Does he hate the harsh weather or does he learn to survive inspite of it.
The Israelis inveted "drip irrigation" and see how they make the desert bloom. They survive by using their imagination while those who would rather waste their families and themselves on anger fail to prosper.
"When they learn to love their children more than they hate their enemies there will be peace..."
