Islamic Relief Launch Pakistan Appeal

Islamic Relief have launched an emergency appeal for the displaced people of SWAT.  U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres has called on international support for the humanitarian effort, he said:

“This is a huge and rapidly unfolding emergency, which is going to require considerable resources beyond those that currently exist in the region,”

Our brothers, sisters and little ones who are caught up in the fighting need our help, and oraganisations like Islamic Relief are on the ground right now helping.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad said in a beautiful hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra):

“Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim)

Mu’aadh bin Jabal (RA) related from our beloved Prophet Muhammad:

“Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi)

Prophet Muhammad also said:

“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his Sadaqah.” (Ahmad)
