Imaam Ibn Taymiyyah (ra), a scholar you and i both respect said of "Sufism" "Some people accept everything of sufism, what is right as well as what is wrong; others reject it totally, both what is wrong and what is right, as some scholars of kalam and fiqh do. The right attitude towards sufism, or any other thing, is to accept what is in agreement with the Quran and the Sunnah, and reject what does not agree'" [Majmu Fatawa Shaykh al-Islam, vol. 10, p. 82]." he also said: “ Verily, Sulook (a synonym for Tazkiyah, Ihsaan or Tasawwuf) is the path ordained by Allah and His Messenger peace and blessings be upon him, which encompasses the beliefs, devotion, worship and ethics of a person. And all this is clarified in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Therefore, it is the provision no true Mu’min can do without.” (Vol. 19 Pg. 273) He also states: “In Sulook, there are some points debated by the Mashaikh, but there is abundant evidence in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah substantiating the stance adopted by the majority of the scholars, for the precepts of Sulook are of the same category as the Islamic doctrinal code, all elucidated and resolved in a crystal-clear fashion in both the divine sources of Islamic Theology.” (Vol. 19 Pg. 274) there are unfortunately, some people who label themselves "sufis" and who practice Islam with no knowledge whatsoever and these people can be seen to flee from seeking and acquiring knowledge, which should be the basis of all tariqa's. They indulge in all kinds of things that are wrong and contrary to the shariya. Please do not throw all of those Muslims who wish to purify their heart, better their character and gain closeness to Allah aza wa jal in the same category as the deviants who give Tasawwuf or Sufism a bad name. He is fully aware of what you do. How many MUSHRIK peer/faqeer you visit. Follow the Sunnah. The Beloved Messenger of Allaah Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said that this Ummah will divide into 73 sects all of them WILL BE in the HELLFIRE EXCEPT ONE, and they are the ones who follow the 3 early generations of Muslims, The Sahaba, Taabi'een, Tabi Tabi'een (Salaf-Us-Saalih). This hadith is in Sahih Al Bukhari and is well known. These Muskhrik peers of the SUFIS claim to have knowledge of the Ghaib. AUOOZUBILLAH!!! Only ALLAAH HAS KNOWLEDGE OF THE GHAIB No-One else, Not even the Messenger Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. Repent for the Shirk that you have committed, Turn to ALLAAH BEFORE YOU DIE. No One can save you from Allaah's Punishment except ALLAAH. No peer, no mullah, no sufi, no muskrik. Sufism is the way of the shaytaan. wahdatul-wajood is KUFR. ALLAAH is NOT everywhere and NOT in your hearts. HE is seperate from His creation, High Above them. Don't be of the Losers on Yaumul-Qiyamah. Don't be fooled by the plots of shaytaan, the outcast.
